Flintlock is the survival event you can’t miss! Join Flint & Steel’s network of world-class instructors to learn a variety of emergency survival and primitive skills. Bringing together experience gained from decades of teaching in a variety of different environments and backgrounds, this is an opportunity to learn from a the diverse group of survival schools and instructors who make up Flint & Steel. This year’s event will have 3 tracks – a general track, primitive skills and emergency skills.

  • Make a high-performance composite bow and arrow with your hands and learn primitive archery all in one day. We have partnered with Dave Mead Longbows to provide hand-crafted kits for a unique, primitive bow with impressive quality at an affordable price. Upon completion of our class you will leave with a great shooting bow, handmade arrow and the skills required to use them effectively.

Monday, 4/27 – Sunday, 5/3 – Wilderness First Responder with Offgrid Medic – $600 with Flintlock Ticket or $700 stand-alone

  • The Offgrid Medic Wilderness First Responder (WFR) program, is the “Gold Standard” in wilderness medical care training. The scope of practice for a WFR is to prevent and identify medical problems, initiate reasonable and appropriate field management and identify red flag signs and symptoms indicating the need for evacuation for potentially life-threatening problems.
