Description

EDC Gig

The EDC Gig by Panacea X is a small gig designed to be able to keep with you in your wallet or everyday carry survival or food procurement kits. Perfectly sized to fit in all of your bug-out bags. At only 1 ounce for two gigs, you can easily add a couple to each food procurement kit for almost no weight penalty.

The EDC gig comes in a plastic credit card holder. Dimensions: .9″ wide, 3.4″ long, thickness: less than .5 oz. (14g)

Can be quickly lashed to a stick or pole with tarred bank line for a field expedient frog gig or fishing spear. Never underestimate the amount of time it can take to effectively gather or hunt food in a wilderness survival situation.

Actively hunting takes 100% of your time and focus. It’s highly recommended to pair active hunting with passive means of food procurement such as trapping with snares and/or passive fishing techniques, such as trot lines or Yo-Yos.

This thing is amazing. What a clever design. You could carry this in your wallet, BOB, GHB, or NONCON Bag. It is super sharp so I have no doubt it will do its job quite effectively. I think this design would also allow it to be used on other small game as well by using it as a spear or on a trap. It would also make an excellent fishing spear. I think I am going to have to buy more now.
