GB2 Waxed Canvas Multipurpose Mat

The all-new GB2 Waxed Canvas Multipurpose Mat was designed to be used for various tasks for Bushcraft. This durable 12″ x 12″ mat features  10.10-ounce Original Martexin Waxed Army Duck Canvas (Gridwax), which is a durable and water-repellent ripstop canvas with a tight weave. The outer layer is Olive, and the inner layer is a separate piece in high visibility Orange. This dual-layered construction gives it unparalleled strength and durability.

The GB2 Multipurpose Mat is lightweight and packable, folding down to an incredibly small 6″ x 6″ square that could easily fit into a pocket. Using the innovative snap system, it can also be folded in half or even into a full bowl shape. When unfolded, it is a 12″ x 12″ water-resistant surface.

The Multipurpose cloth can be used as a knee or ground pad for sitting or kneeling in wet environments; fold it over into a protective envelope to keep your friction fire sets dry; use it flat as a barrier to damp ground for your tinder bundle or friction fire set, or snap it into a bowl that can be used for anything from protecting your dry tinder bundle to sitting on your desk or nightstand as an attractive EDC tray or catch-all for your pocket litter.

For navigation and signal, the high-visibility orange makes an excellent waypoint marker or signal panel, made possible by a corner grommet with orange reflective paracord for hanging it when needed.
