Joshua Enyart is a former Army Ranger and Green Beret turned Survival, Bushcraft, and Preparedness Instructor. He has taken his military training and experience and blended it with his experience in Wilderness Skills to develop a No-Nonsense system of Preparedness for himself and his family.

You will learn how to lighten your load by developing a system of caches to stage along your routes including what to pack in them and how to hide them so they are less likely to be discovered by someone else. Enhance your mobility by learning tried-and-true navigation techniques for rapid cross-country movement using techniques Joshua used during Special Forces Assessment and Selection and the Special Forces Qualification Course. Learn how to safely procure water on the move and quickly make it safe to drink. Discover techniques for “stealth fires” and “stealth shelters” to reduce the chance of being seen by others.

    I’m grateful to have learned so much from this film, if I ever have to use this knowledge I will be more prepared and more confident now. It really puts things into perspective in an easy to follow along way. There was way more info than I expected in the multiple chapters/courses and I really like how it was broken down into sections. Really liked to see the caches, navigation, PACE plan, and tactical aspect. I’ve seen other videos by different instructors but none have come close to this and most have left out these key elements. Highly recommend and looking forward to the next films in this series!

Joshua relies heavily on the use of 1 or more caches, and while I don’t disagree with the use of them this doesn’t work for my scenario.       The only thing released on Youtube aside from the trailers were (3) 4-6 minute previews of the film and one longer 27 min. preview, which was cut to be less than half of the actual chapter in the film. Previews are shown to promote the film.

    Have you ever clicked on websites that said things like “135 things you need in your bug out bag”? This film is totally NOT that. Just like the title implies, it’s a no nonsense approach to bug out theory. The philosophy behind it is broken down to a simplified, but logical approach to satisfy basic human needs including gear selection and useful skills if you ever had to leave home in a disaster. It actually makes you feel a whole lot less overwhelmed by the thought of bugging out. Highly reconmend.

    No nonsense bug out is a great resource for either a short foot movement or a longer one. Josh takes the time to explain trail logistics, demonstrate knots that eliminate dependencies upon rigging parts that will fail and need to be replaced. While he has a section on firearms, it isn’t stressed as heavily as in other programs since patience and contact avoidance is most likely the better choice if possible. My take on Josh’s program is that analog is a more reliable choice than electron driven tech solutions that fail when batteries go dead.
    This is a great program that learning well will, I believe, keep me alive get me home if bad things happen.

    Well I have to go full disclosure here, when I bought the woods videos I ended up on a camp in 35 mile per hour winds, 20 degrees and a snowstorm.
    I had just tied a rapid ridgeline the week before and had it which ended up being the only thing that helped hold my tent together!
    As you can see after that I may be a bit bias but I love the practical no nonsense approach of Josh.
