Shelter boss is a good emergency and light weight for what’s in it… The emergency saw was just as good as the silky Gomeboy. the tarp is thin but the grommets are set nicely and with the proper ridge line this makes great for an emergency shelter out of rain and 25mph wind didn’t take it down … Very impressed..the plastic ground cover served a purpose . The steaks and zip ties worked great also. Just use the zip ties wisely . The steaks don’t go through the grommet holes . But that’s ok put them steaks in the ground and just tied my #36 bank line from there to the grommets.

What impresses me the most about all of the BOSS kits is the quality of product included in each one. The tarp, the saw, the line guides, the paracord, every single item is top notch and well worth the price! Even the bags included are a great quality, I’m a customer for life. I didn’t open anything, so I assume it is all good. All of these items are for the backup bugout bag/underground cache, in case the house burns down and nothing else is left. Or if everything else is inaccessible for whatever reason.
