This is the third running of Flintlock — it hasn't happened since 2019, and it's coming back as the GB2 community's home gathering: not a single course with one instructor, but a full week built around the whole community that's grown up around Gray Bearded Green Beret.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eA Week at Flintlock\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlintlock runs all day, every day, for the full week. Multiple classes run simultaneously throughout the day, taught by Joshua Enyart and a rotating cast of GB2 instructors — so instead of one curriculum, you're choosing from a full week's worth of tracks and picking what interests you, whether that's something you've never tried or a skill you want to go deeper on. Evenings shift to the campfire: music, conversation, and the kind of comradery that doesn't happen in a normal classroom setting. Water and portable toilet facilities are provided on site. Food is not included in your ticket: food trucks will be on site during the event, and you're welcome to bring and prepare your own food as well. Plan your own meals accordingly.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThere will be a daily Teen and Youth Camp from 8am-12pm for participants 4-17 years of age to allow parents half a day to take workshops they want. Children under 4 are too young for these camps and must stay with parents\/legal guardian at all times\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eInstructor Credentials and Safety Infrastructure\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlintlock is hosted by Joshua Enyart — a former Army Ranger and Green Beret with three decades of professional instructor experience — alongside the broader GB2 instructor cadre teaching throughout the week. Every class at Flintlock is taught by an instructor working within the same GB2 System of Training™ used across the full course lineup.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSafety infrastructure matches every GB2 field event: on-site Medic Station with appropriate medical equipment, dedicated medic and Search and Rescue staff on site for the full week, and all instructors CPR\/AED certified and Wilderness First Responder certified at minimum. Gates are open daily from 7am–8am for arrivals, closed during training hours from 8am–6pm, open again from 6pm–10pm for anyone coming and going, and closed overnight from 10pm–7am.
