Improved GB2 Tinder Pouch

The new and improved GB2 Tinder Pouch is a roll-top pouch that is perfect for gathering natural tinder once you reach the wilderness so that you can have it available when you get to camp and need to get a fire started. Originally, it was a canvas pouch that was hand-waxed to keep it waterproof with a simple roll top design and a paracord tie to keep it closed.

The first improvement that was made was to change the material to a 10.10 ounce, pre-waxed, ripstop canvas. That made for a much lighter, cleaner pouch with less wax residue vs. the hand-waxed original.

This newest version features a second improvement: adding a belt loop so that you can wear it on your belt while you are gathering material, and then take it off to close the roll-top and pack it away. Both are welcome improvements over the original model and have made this design even more functional.

This is a great tinder pouch for collecting resources when you’re out in the woods. This pouch is a perfect match to the GB2 Haversack.

    Solid construction waxed canvas. These do come heavily waxed as it should and you will see that as you peel it apart to open it up. I took a heat gun to it to seal in some of the wax but you could also leave it in the sun or use a hair dryer to soften it up if need be.
