In it's simplest form, the Bed Sleeve can be used as a bivy cover. Snap the bottom edge closed, and crawl inside with your bedding for a comfortable nights sleep. The waxed canvas bottom will provide a vapor barrier against the ground, while the unwaxed top offers superior breathability.

Using the Bed Sleeve as a Browse Bed Mattress

The Gray Bearded Green Beret bed Sleeve is designed to be the most versatile bedding option in the wilderness. It can be used as a browse bed mattress by filling it with dry duff like leaves or pine needles. If the ground is wet, place the waxed canvas side down to act as a moisture barrier between the ground and you. If the duff is wet, use it with the waxed canvas side up to form a moisture barrier between you and the mattress.

Perfect Sleep on Uneven Terrain using the Bed Sleeve as a Cot in a Raised Bed

The GB2 Bed Sleeve can also be used as a cot in various configurations for a raised bed. Simply slide two long poles inside the sleeve and secure them off the ground. Duff and/or a sleeping pad can also be inserted inside the sleeve between the poles to offer more insulation.
